Goodies in 1.11 that make me all happy and stuff........




After a disconnect from the server, it is now possible to log back in immediately, instead of receiving the message, "A character with that name already exists."

Curse of Agony: The damage from this spell will now continue even if the caster dies or leaves the area.

Key rings have been added to the game.

Stack sizes have been updated:

Light's Hope Chapel has been revamped and is now a fully functional quest hub.
  • A new mailbox has been added.
  • The chapel is now flagged as an inn.
  • A guard system is in place.
  • New vendors have been added.
Dozens of new quests have been added to Light's Hope.

Players in a party may now select an option that allows them to reset an instance.

New flight paths can be found at Ratchet and Marshall's Refuge, Un'Goro Crater.

There are also rumors floating around the boards that functionality has been added for "raid leaders" (hopefully for group leaders too) to designate what targets are to be sheeped, sapped, seduced, etc.

No more will people have an excuse for being idiots before the fight!

More specifically.....

Players in a party may now select an option that allows them to reset an instance.
  • You only get the reset instance option if you are a party leader.
  • The UI option appears if you are a party leader, you have one or more instances open, and you are not currently in an instance.
  • The UI option is a right-click option off of your own portrait (like party loot options).
  • You get a warning dialogue when you select this option asking if you really want to reset all instances.
  • If you select reset all instances, all non-raid instances will be reset to their starting condition.

One thing that annoys me is the new FP from Theramore to Ratchet. Where was this when Stike (and all Alliance Warlocks that came before) was leveling up? The Alliance Warlock world seems to be centered around Ratchet and many many many trips there are required. As you know, there really isnt an "easy" way to get to Ratchet - especially if you are level 20ish. I made the deathrun down through Stranglegank to take the "horde" boat there from Booty Bay the first time. All the trips after that it was go to Theramore and run up the coast.....

Now granted, these low level locks are probably still gonna continue to be ganked in Ratchet, but after that initial "Hard Trip" there to get the FP, they will have it made......

Eh, I'm just glad that we finally have an option for getting to Kalimdor other than Menethil. Just like the south entrance to BRM, most Horde are too lazy to camp the BB boat.

So I'm out in the General Forums reading about the new FP to Rachet. You have never heard so much whining and complaining from the little Hordies....

They can't believe that Alliance should get a FP into a place in Horde Territory (ignoring the fact that Ratchet is a "neutral" town like BB or EL). They are screaming for a Horde FP to be put in Westfall, Loch Modan or somewhere of equal status to The Barrens.

Its hilarious......
