Noght elves.. they use leather armor right? May herbalism, or leatherworking with skinning... there's a ton of options.. Make sure you get cooking, fishing (to pass the time) and First Aid. All are good skills to have. (except cooking for Mages.. they can conjure food and water..)

conjure yes, but that "food" doesnt come with any buffs... so still not a bad idea to do it

None of my recipies as a cook give me any buffs now. It's just something to do to make some extra cash, instead of selling raw goods to the vendors.
