With all of the news coming out of the US elections yesterday, I'm sorry to say that I haven't updated my client with patch 3.0.3 (http://wowinsider.com/tag/patch-3.0.3) yet. And since Blizzard uses Bittorrent (http://www.bittorrent.com/) to pass around their patches, there's always that chance that I might be a little too late -- when there are lots of people downloading the patch, things actually go faster than when there's only one or two sources out there with the update. That's why we're glad to have our friends at Big Download covering all the bases -- they've got the latest 3.0.3 patch up for download (http://news.bigdownload.com/2008/11/05/download-world-of-warcraft-3-0-2-to-3-0-3-patch/) on their site right now.
There are all kinds of reasons you might not be interested in using Blizzard's official download client, so there you go -- for whatever you need it for, the patch file is yours.
