ohh yea, have it in texas, came in the ususal box with manual etc 3 discs with an empire symbol on each (vanu disc is #1), dissapointed with the cd case though, crappy cardboard thing with foam center pieces, ahh screw the case, going to play the game

I logged on last night just long enough to secure my name but it took about 20 minutes of patching. I finally get to log in tonight and I'm getting another patch for 40 minutes. I expect frequent patching on MMOG type games but I really didn't expect this frequent or this large yet. I also don't seem to have a patch message which is a bit odd. Has everyone else had to patch both days so far? Or maybe this is a result of using the beta game?

Well, I made the mistake of using quit command to get out of the training demo thing which shut down the whole game. When I went to get back in, the game did yet another full scan and is now DLing all the same stuff it just finished with not 15 min ago. If I can't find any info on this in the official forums, I'm gonna have to reinstall. I might get to play here in another day or two.

Hmm that is weird. I don't think there have been any patches that are that big. Sounds like a CRC check error. I got a patch yesterday, but it was only one file and on DSL it was done in about 5 seconds. I don't think there was one today, unless it was tiny as well.
