will we be playing on when/if this game goes public? i say east coast since we are majority central tiem zone and we are ALL closer to the east coast. my 2 cents.....

According to the PS server page, Emerald (east) is the only "east coast" server online now. No central, the rest west. :confused:

My guess is they'll release a list of the live servers a few days before release so we can standardize on one. Central's fine w/me.

They have had plans for East, Central, West, and European servers.

We're from all over so I think Central is probably still best. I haven't been able to log in yet but I get poor ping to the west coast servers. I'll have to see about the central servers when they come up.

A lot of TKB is from the south-west...so I don't think East coast will be good for them.

Wow, I'm pleasantly surprised to see so many folks from Florida! I'm in Jacksonville myself.

I wonder how SOE is handling servers for East, West, Central, etc. If what's now being called Markov West is geographically the same server we've been playing on, wouldn't it ping the same as it always has?

So far they have all been west coast in a San Diego datacenter. The new East one, I am not sure if it is truely east or not, or just a renamed old one.

I'm east coast, but I don't really have a problem playing on the central server. I'm used to my ping on the west coast servers now, so playing on the central server should make it somewhat better :)

I'm pinging about 130 - 180 on Markov now, not too bad. But I think central is best for all, I know hell a bunches of ATF fooz are in Texas even, Dallas area I think.
