Not smart thinking on there part yes men love games but tight clothed women with whips is what keeps em coming back.

seems to me like they are killing the essence of E3, a convention for the gamers, and its making it back to the original concept of a trade show only for the big wigs. I think its kind of dumb, they will probably lose a lot of press, because alot of the reaction was from the fans there who reported to all the people who read their blogs, or sites like screwattack.com. I think something will pop up soon to replace E3...but I dont think E for All will suceed in that.

Something to replace E3? The general consensus is that at present this would be PAX, the Penny Arcade Expo.

They shy away from that title as "The New E3", but a weekend-long convention devoted to all things gaming including tournaments, demos, competitions...sounds like the spiritual successor at least.
