Many of us are in the unfortunate situation of having to work for a living. At these jobs I am sure there are certain things one is not supposed to do. Now is the time to post those.
I Work for an IT firm and something I can't do is show emotion while talking to people. I've tried to slip by on just filtering the emotions I express while talking to a client however, I still tend to accidently insult their intelligence. The stoic deadpan expresion is a solid defence against this unpleasant occasional lapse of the social graces.
I have yet to figure out a good way of explaining to a customer how those are vents on the back of the printer and not paper feeds. (As a side note the vents were very full) While using anything less than my best stoic deadpan expression. Talking slowly while doing so helps as it makes it easier not to break out in laughter until one has put a safe five miles or so between themselves and the job site.
