Anyway, for you Adult Swim fans out there, the guy in that video is a voice on Squidbillies.

For more fun video goodness, go to youtube and search for "Unknown Hinson".

Ok...it was a pretty awesome show. The man definitely can play the guitar. He played for about 2-1/2 hours straight - no breaks, no intermission and most songs ended and led right into the next without hardly stopping. He did have about a brief 2-3 minute break before the 30 minute encore. It was pretty damn good.

It was a nice crowd - all ages from the 18-20ish crownd all the way up to some 50 and 60ish folks. The venue was an old small single screen movie theater converted into a small music club. The beer was cold...good looking women type folks running around and the music was awesome. It was a good nite.

I might post photographic evidence later.... maybe....

As a bonus, we got to watch several episodes of Squidbillies on the big screen as the "opening act".....

That's awesome. :D did he have original tunes or was it mostly covers?

Just about all originals.... he did throw in a couple Hendrix songs and a Who song. The one Jimi tune - Manic Depression - turns into a 10 minute jam with some other goodies thrown in such as a snippet of the Beatles Tax Man.

But he has about 4 albums of his own so most came from those...

I checked his website, and he's got a link to some Lunch hour browdcast with some radio station in Louisville, Ky. I'm listening to it right now, and it's pretty good. I may have to find some more audio with him in it before I actually buy anything, but I like what I've heard so far. :D

You can listen to pretty much the whole latest album there on his website.
