Over at Planetside forum electrowaffle made a post about Dave G.. He was talking about how newbieized they tried to make T2 but community made B++, V2, Classic, and TR2 and helped keep it alive with skilled games and now dave G is over on PS and they have like a grenade launcher that has hud that tells you where the gren will land.. What skill is in that.

He was saying he wanted game to need skill and practice to be strong..

Well within no time the admin deleted his whole thread instead of replying and locking or just locking they delete it and all conversation by others following.. Then..

I create a post commenting on how fast they deleted Electrowaffles post and kinda giving him some props from T2 quality of play and stuff because we have been kicked around a few times by him and his teammates in past. and They deleted my posts too.. I didn't even say anything bad about PS and they deleted it.. WOW..

Yeah, it's kind of bunk, but I remember some admins saying they wanted the discussion to be focused on PS and not anything they've worked on in the past, particularly T2 comparison threads. Did you post it in the general forum, or in the discussion forum? It might have stayed alive in the general forum.

It was in top forum whatever that is. Top forum on a index should always be general chat.. Do they have it layed out incorrectly... I should not like having to correct them.. LOL

Yeah, thew forum they have up is pretty bad. Not setup right, I can't tell wether or not there are new posts half the time, etc... It's not very good. And yeah, censorship sucks, and we all know it, but it is the admins' perogative to do as he wishes.

Yeah, I think it is a very hacked up UBB to work with their station registration, makes it very buggy......like the Station.

I think Electrowaffle did play with us at one time...

Regarding the canned thread, I think Dave G is the moderator there. ;) It must get pretty tiresome hearing over and over about how you ****** up a game, especially from people who don't know what really happened. I mean, I'm sure getting bought out by Verant, and getting your entire publishing crew (Dynamix) canned, etc. would make for a poor working environment and perhaps some bad decisions.

From seeing how he is on the forums, he seems very interested in people's input, very open-minded. So I don't think he can be all bad - or maybe he just learned his lesson from T2.

I was looking into that the other day, and I will dig some more. I don't like the censor thingy, so I will try and disable it.

Speaking of censorship, I think that "doing the nasty" post that was on Planetside forums got deleted.

I don't visit the TKB forums often so I'm not sure how you guys post; but with THZ XMEN and DTM, cursing is something that people usually stay away from posting. I have no problem with it, I curse all the time. I just don't feel a public forum is the place for it, especially when it will be representing the whole group.

I think if it were in the private rooms only, that'd be fine. But sometimes, the right expletive just fits.

Oh yea, I agree with that as well. We don't hardly ever post in our public room unless someone else posts there. All of our talk is done in the private areas.

And in there we just LET IT FLY.

So, are we going to keep this forum public only, or will we have a place to let it rip about our experiences and gripes with the game?

This is an open Planetside Forum. We have Private forums as well for tactics, and housekeeping stuff. New rules, applicants, etc. The forums are seperated by public and private.
