Found this in the forums.... sounds like fun....


So a few months back, I was aimlessly wandering. I happened into the house that is directly north of Goldshire's inn. It's where the Skinner and Leatherworker trainers are. Two women live inside. Apparently they've become "Friendly" since the one women's husband went away or died or whatever.

Anyhow, I went upstairs, and there's a large bedroom. Inside the large bedroom were 6 children, standing and staring at the wall. The creepiness doesn't come off in the telling, but believe me it was very Children of the Corn/Blair Witch. So i get creeped out, leave, and never dwell on it again.

Now on Sunday night, my guildie and I stumbled onto the subject of this house and how she saw it too. We shared our creep factor and moved on.

Monday I was trying to find wrapping paper for another guildie and my search took me to Goldshire. So I'm there, thinking about the devil children. So I go to visit them in their hell bedroom. They're there, but now they've moved. They moved about 5 feet closer to the wall they were staring at, but are still in their original formation.

So now I'm curious about these 6 agents of satan. I call 2 guildies in to investigate, including the one who's seen it before. One of them notices the music that's playing in the room, really creepy evil beezlebub music that's only playing in that room. My other guildie notices that the children are standing in the form of a pentagram. So after much melodrama, we somehow came to the conclusion that Stormwind makes it's wine out of the children. Or that these 6 children will bring the Scourge invasion. Or that the lady killed her husband and hid him under the matress.

So after BWL last night, our guildies are interested in seeing the Stepford Kids of Goldshire, so we group and go to the house. And they're gone. All 6 children are gone. The creepy music still plays. But the kids aren't there anymore.

So all I want to know is if anyone else has ever experienced this strange room and these weird kids staring at a wall and the creepy music. Or if there's any point to it at all? Is it my overactive imagination that they were there for months, not moving, then they inch forward to the wall, and then they disappear the eve of 6/6/06? I just want to know!! I swear I'm not crazy.

Well he could have shared that earlier cause now there is now way to see those children. What a douche bag!

Damn.. the Children are back in the house and they are standing in a "star" formation and one little girl is actually standing in the fire in the fireplace.

I'm wondering if there might be some connection between that room and the Friday the 13th series, since there's a scary house (cabin) located right next to "Crystal Lake"...however, looking up the 5 kids names doesn't reveal any obvious connection to that series.

Very odd though.

They have deffinately moved since that video. and one is missing now.

I'm checking things also now. The husband of the skinner works at northshire abbey, he gives a quest for killing wolves at lv 1. Coulden't find anything else, I even tried to spell their names backwards but it diden't help me much lol. keep us informed, maybe you are on to something big :lol:

I read one post where it says they periodically leave and walk to Stormwind. Some say the children that follow that one woman around in SW are the same kids.

The teacher has 7 children behind her (not 6), with diffrent names then the one in the house. If that is what you mean.

Yep...someone posted screenies in the thread (now 36 pages) to prove that.

Another wierd thing being discussed in that same area is at another nearby house. Not exactly sure which one but it supposedly has a chair on the front porch and there is a NPC named Clara Charles. Supposedly she is staring at a cabinet and ever so often will walk outside the house to a well. When she gets to the well, a level 8 Defias Ambusher that is said to look like no other Defias NPC in the area appears from behind a tree and attacks.

One of you work playing people go investigate this and report back.

I am... the kids have moved once again.

Found the lady staring at the cabinet. Will watch her for a bit.

She has walked to the well twice now and no defias has attacked at all.

After 4 trips to the well, finally two Defias Ambushers came out of nowhere and attacked. Their asses were promptly handed to them.

The Defias Ambusher is rare in Elwynn Forrest. He looks strange, the 2 guards of the First deadmines boss look like these Ambushers. They sometimes pop out of the bushes to attack a nearby player.

Ah.. I see. So it may just be normal game mechanics.

Confirmed they are part of normal mechanics.. they did not pop out again until after I removed my shadowmeld and went to the well. Then they attacked only me.

I noticed something on the dock outside. There is a little boy on the dock sometimes. He's not there for me now, but 5 min ago he was. Could be a NPC that just walks around or something.

Edit: At 35,59 there is another house. The entrance is the same style as the dock from "Stoke's House" when you enter the room you can hear the same background music as in the creepy room with the children. But then again, the other house with the water well girl has the same music also.

Next thing to investigate:

It was written in the thread that if you talk to the NPC's there on the dock outside the house, eventually one of them will tell of "fishing a strange mask out of the lake" sometime back....

Well, since it is Crystal Lake...and one of the guys out there is named Jason......

So it has nothing to do with the woman walking out there as well? Or did they only appear and attack you when she was there?

Blizzard Entertainment can neither confirm nor deny the existence of any such haunted house, devil children, or even for that matter a location known as Goldshire. As far as we're concerned this house, these children and said zone are pure fabrication.
