I am moving out of my parents house to an apartment two hours away to finish college. Ive been making a list of things I need to take with me (place is furnished) and was wondering if any of you have any suggestions.

Mac-n-cheese too! and some cherry koolaid - but the poptarts must be strawberry - either that or brownsugar/cinnimon

/edit and a wireless usb adapter-metal food strainer so you can make a parabolic wireless antenna to poach bandwidth. If you build it right and are in LOS of an unproteced source you can associate (within a mile or so) public libraries are a good source of free bandwidth.

/edit edit linkage! http://www.usbwifi.orcon.net.nz/

Porn, lube, easy bake oven, a copy of 1984's Dune, Peanut Butter and Jam (none of that jelly shit), a George Foreman grill, beef for the grill, bacon, turkey, bewbs, bewbs, bewbs, (it takes three sets to equal the incredibleness of my own), and yellow cake with chocolate frosting.

OOooh... The George is key in any bachelor pad. And Bacon. All Key. Aside from that, bewbs dig art. Have something cool framed. Over an unstained couch preferably. As cliche as it sounds, I dig VanGogh, and Im getting married next July. Coincedence? No way.

One thing that ive found that helps pass the time is a kegerator and a 62 inch TV. Those help greatly. ohh and one thing that everyone forgot on their list is obviously extra TP. seriously, if you are the only one there, and you run out...it could get fucking gross. Im sure Niz has some story related to this, so ask him about it sometime.

Plenty of Shiner will do...I FINALLY found it here in WV, they have it on tap at the local Hooters. $10 a pitcher is rape though. But for Shiner...its worth it.

I lived about and hour from Shiner, I dont even think that the population exceeds 2k there.

From one Texan to another:

The last ditch survival meal for the poor.

Tortillas, refried beans, picante sauce, and velveta cheese.

Get a casserole dish and add one can of refried beans;
add picante sauce and cheese to your liking;
heat in microwave for 2 1/2 minutes then take out stir real good;
heat in microwave an addtional 2 1/2 minutes and stir real good;
place in tortillas and you have a poor mans meal for a few days.

I was unemployed for a while 20 years ago and lived on that for almost a month. It is cheap, tastes good enough, and will keep you fed.

Good luck with college.

BTW, get cleaning supplies so girls will actually want to come over to your place because it is not a pig pen like the other guys :)

What are these "cleaning supplies" you speak off?

I'm not sure but, I think he means soap and shampoo. Oh, don't forget duct tape "the universal cure all". It fixes stuff and can entertain those extra special friends, when they come over to party.
