Howdy folks, ive talked to Splidz in game a bit about it, and coming here to put the message out there for your purusal.
ID has begun pushing for Onyxia and MC runs, and with the current members we have, we can field 3-4 self sufficient groups with keys to Onyxia but were lacking in casters. From my chat with Splidz, it seems you have those in abundance :)
What were looking for is a partnership for High end content. IF you guys can field half a raid, we can field the other half. We, actually can send out more than half, if need be, but if ATF wanted in, we would set aside 20 places for you.
We are not looking for people to fill ID raids, we are looking to team up and figure out what needs to be done to take down these instances. ID is working on a new raid looting system, but we would use nothing you arent comfortable with.
As background for those who dont know us, ID is a guild that focuses on its people. We try to promote fun and enjoyment in our community. I am very easygoing in guild policy and politics, and we are not interested in starting or participating in the drama rampant on our server. We've had our ups and downs, but weve come out on top. On the whole, those behind our keyboards are good people and good players.
Mull it over, let me know what you guys think, Onyxia and MC and in the future, BWL have a lot to offer us all, and as guilds, i think we have similar values and goals.

sorry for the muliple posts >< it gave me an error and redirected me... lol, i look like a noob

not to worry :) were not asking for -just- your casters, were asking you to fill a couple groups. Splidz said you were light on melee, and were light on casters :)

Hi Roderick, thanks for stopping by. After I posted up in the Mal'ganis forums about a possible partnership a few weeks ago, we were approached by a couple of different guilds. We have since formed a partnership with COL and some other guilds (Arsenal, Sleep) who they are allied with. So far, this is working well for us, because although we have a fair number of members, we're generally only able to field 10-15 level 60 players on a given night for a raid. This would be an obstacle to us forming a straight partnership with you, because we likely could not consistently provide 20 high-level players as our half of a 40-player raid.

This is a young partnership with them however, and we haven't yet fully participated in a large-scale raid with them. One of the problems is that they typically schedule their raids for early times (like molten core on Sundays at 5 pm EST) that some of us (myself included) can't make. I can't really get on generally until 9 pm EST at the earliest, although playing until 2 am is not a problem for me many nights. So for me personally, large-scale events at later times are preferred.

My vision for where this is all going is for us to make enough inter-guild friends that we are able to field large numbers of people for raids on any night with little prior preparation - perhaps deciding to raid the day of the raid. Since gaming is about fun and relaxation, I'd like us to be able to hook up without too much organization, but obviously that's difficult when 40 people are required. ;)

What are your thoughts? And how many level 60 players do you have on during any given night? How many can you field for raids? 20, consistently?

Well splidz, we have about 20 right now who i know are onyxia ready. we have many more we are pushing to be ready. at any given time, we have about 20-30 lvl 60s on, but like youve sad, planning 40 man raids on the fly is a near impossibility, not only due to the people's availability, but the mix of classes that you need to have to succeed. Throw into the mix that you can only get 1 kill of onyxia a week, and it makes it even more fuddled.
Truthfully, we dont need 20 people, we can field most of the raid ourselves, its just a choice few classes that we lack. As a courstesy, i was offering the full partnership, but if cant/dont want that, and cant commit that many folks regularly, perhaps we could work something out where we pull a couple of your folks in our runs regularly.
on the subject of timing, later instance runs arent usually a problem, my guild members are used to me setting guild events around 8cst/server time
