In case any of you guildies inquired where Codsworth and I were the last couple of days (I know we're not level 60. We're not on top of the look-out list :D), inquire no more, for we have returned. Along with Poohpoptdgka, we had the greatest Memorial Day Weekend ever. This is an epic tale about renegade bums, Fudruckers, 40oz, Sam Elliot, Border Patrol, and 5,000 miles of the open road.

The quest: Travel from Tampa, Fl. to Tempe (It's Tampa only "e's" instead of "a's") Az. to catch the Nine Inch Nails concert.

First and foremost let me proclaim the excitement of traveling 30 + hours each way by car.... LONG!!!!

We traveled to many gas stations along the road (Gas alone ran $100.00! I hope someone goes to jail for this bullshit!!!). The best gas station existed outside of Tallahassee... free roaming homeless patrons
stealing coffee pots from the local vendors and retiring to their homeless hideout in the woods directly behind all the store (YOU CAN'T MAKE THAT SHIT UP).

Stuff on the way:

Alabama... closest place to purchase 40oz booze! Weapon of choice: Old English.

Georgia... one of the only Taco Bell locations in the south that still sells the chili cheese burrito (OR CHILITO!!!). Unfortunetly we missed Georgia, and all the other Taco Bells did not sell them.

Mississippi... It's a state

Louisiana... It's a state right next to Mississippi

Texas... We traveled through Houston to San Antonio to El Paso. This is an endurance test. LONG! LONG! LONG! Fun Fact! Ardamir lives in Texas. We stopped by his house and knocked on his door till his mom called the cops. WE KNOW YOU WERE IN THERE, BUDDY!!!

New Mexico... Another State w/ a Fudruckers

Arizona... The Finish line! It is pretty hot in Arizona!

THE NINE INCH NAILS CONCERT WAS ****ING INCREDIBLE!!! The opening band was The Dresden Dolls. They rock also.

If you are a fan of NIN it is everything you thought it was and more.

FUN FACT: After the concert I got into a fight with a drunk named John. SMALL ****ING WORLD! Luckily the iron gates seperated the two of us or more than likely Bakstabba would of most likely have had a lush falling on top of him and passing out. DONT DO DRUGS AND ALCOHOL PEOPLE! I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH!

THE RIDE HOME!!!

We visited Tombstone!!! Kurt Russell? Sam Elliot? Bill Paxton? You know what I am talking about! instead of paying $8.00 each to see the inside of the OK Coral we went to the local saloon and purchased SIOUX CITY. SARSAPARILLA (The grandaddy of all Root Beer). Really kick-ass!

Florida... HOME SWEET HOME!

Hey thanks for the shout out to us soldiers. I appreciate it. I'm so jealous that you got to go to a cool concert! My last one was Seether w/ Evanesence, Our Lady Peace, and 3 Doors Down(<--Fav BAND!). In reference to Mosh pitting and drugs/alcohol, I've been to a Mega death and Motley Crue concert in dallas and that shit was awesome. So many boobies and people getting beat up in da moshy! good times. Hope you all had a good memorial day! :)

Told you I-10 was the best way through Texas!! BTW you left your wallet...you need to put more money in your ATM account.

Hell of a drive, don't think i could do it. I also own a few hundred acres outside of tombstone on 82, if i knew you could have caught yourself a pet scorpion or something.
