I had a friend that worked at Activision, so at the time I tested a lot for them. Heavy Gear 2, Civilization 3, Vampire:The Masquerade.

Since then just open beta's

I never played open Betas, Just the ones I listed up top.

I was on the Xbox Beta... :D

Lessee... Not a lot, none before stress testing had commenced and one barely counts since it had entered open beta; DAoC, Earth and Beyond, AC2 and now EVE Online.

SH: how is auto modellista?

DAoC, E&B, AC2, Neocron, and a few independent games that kind of sucked :)

Auto Modellista was a lot of fun. The tracks and cars were nice, and the Cell Shading was excellent. And the online stuff was great, with Chat rooms, and Team rooms, etc. Very fun game all around... I was testing the online stuff, and didn't get to play anything offline, so I don't know about upgrading of cars, etc. But I do know it doesn't cost "money", You unlock stuff with races.

What did you think about EVE Online.

Dunno yet, just finished downloading the monster by bedtime last night. I'll post a bit when I've received my edumacation.

Think that means Delta Force: Black Hawk Down. Good game, from what I hear.

EVE is confusing as hell to start out. I don't really think its gonna be a bigtime contender. It's beautiful to look at but its so non-intuitive that its sick. It's really easy to control but it does an excellent job of hiding that fact. Once you get the basics of what does what with the various parts of the interface, its pretty simple. Starting a new character tends to be pretty slow going and the learning curve doesn't help. Content... well, I'm just starting to get to that so we'll see.

I gave up on it pretty fast, it just didnt interest me all that much. The main thing about EVE that somewhat interested me was the enconemy system.
