hdd = hard drive. But it's not too important. Any UI mods? Cosmos? something else? What kind of internet connection? Have you tried to reinstall WoW? The more info your give, the quicker we can help. :D

ahh.. behind a firewall? Do you have the windows Firewall on, and have you unblocked it? (WoW) SOunds like packets aren't getting from you to the server, and that would be a firewall problem.. How long did it take you to DL the patches?

FoodStuffs

no fire wall, it even says the ping is 92, it took me like seconds to dl the patches

Click on Start>Control Panel>Windows Firewall, and see if it's enabled, and if it is, click on the exceptions tab, and make sure that the Blizzard Downloader is excepted, and any other Blizzard or WoW things are too.

And if it's not enabled, you really should get a firewall, for your own protection.

I looked at the screens, and didn't see anything really wrong.. You need to explain what's happening in them, or at least in the game, so I can understand.

Hrmm.. do you have a virus? Is your vid card getting too hot? There's a TON of things it could be.. Did CS work yesterday?

How old is your PC? You could have a fan that is dead or dying, or spyware, adware, virus, etc. Download Spybot S&D, and see what you find, check your fan ports, make sure warm air is going out, and cold air is going in. Scan for virii. Update your windows installation. Uninstall and reinstall WoW. Do all this stuff, then post back.

Video drivers. Get the latest. Try changing your AGP apriture size in bios. -or- downgrade if you already did.

FoodStuffs

lol video drivers have nothing to do with the balls of polygons on your screen?? lol just to this man it's not hard.

Re-install video and motherboard AGP drivers. If it doesn't do the trick, sounds like something infact burnt-out hardware wise. My guess would be maybe the ram on the video card.

Yeah, I forgot about that.... Vid drivers are a killer. If it's not that, make sure you have DirectX 9.0c Start>Run>dxdiag Also, you mentioned a router. So you DO have a damn firewall. As of right now, I'm done with this post. I've got no problems helping people out with problems, but when I ask a simple question and get lied to, then they argue with others on the board that "It's not that" then don't come here asking for help, and fix it your f*cking self.
