Goon Squad & The Horde invite the Alliance to the first bridge holding competition!

When?
Friday night, 1/14:
10:30pm Server time (8:30pst)

Where? What?
Teams assemble on each side of a bridge until official start time. (see below)
1 member (generals) goto center of bridge when each faction is ready...
they /bow run back to their respective armies and the fight begins right away.

There will be numerous events of each level range so EVERYONE can have some equal fighting chances.

Levels 20-29
Wetlands and Arathi Highlands Bridge.
Horde start on Arathi side.
Alliance starts on Wetlands side.

Levels 30-39
Duskwood and Stranglethorn Vale Bridge. (small bridge!)
Horde start on STV side.
Alliance on Duskwood side.

Levels 40-49
Ashenvale and Azshara bridge.
Horde start on Ashenvale.
Alliance start on Azshara side.

Levels 50-60
East Vs. West in Deadwind pass
Horde start on the East side.
Alliance start on the West side.

We will be there waiting for you. We hope you play by the rules and don't bring Level 50's to the level 20 event.
This is a chance for everyone to get some pretty equal PVP. We will obey these rules to the letter, and I hope you will do.

If this works, we can make this a common event.
We can change some rules after we see how this plays out.

Problem I see, is that every level group outnumbers alliance side and such a special event will just have more goons on. There will be strays who have no idea that an event is going on and think it is x-mas with all the low levels in one area. I may check it out, but I don't have high hopes.

Other than trying to meet other guilds for networking purposes I dont see much use?

Does anyone else have any other ideas of what we might gain?

I've taken a different approach to pvp in the last 5 or so days. If I get slaughtered by higher lvl horde I go out and slaughter 4 or more of their younger cousins. If they are attacking a town, I go around them and attack all the lower lvls who are farming.

I dont know the overall effectiveness of it all, but I know that fighting the horde everytime they choose the time and the place is a losing proposition.

But back on topic: I would go for the networking.

Same here for the networking. And if the lag isn't too horible. Ill go check it out anyways.

Ya the Horde are starting the event? I rather to a surpise attack.

I too have taken the same feeling about PvP as you Jadal they kill me then I go around and either just me or my group will gank as they did us and oh does it feel good :D. Stonetalon is a good place for this that I've seen so far, me and Cannon had fun down there hehe :).

As the population on Mal's is unbalanced, this issue will be there for a while. This might get worse since some Alliance ppls will be moving out to another server to seek a better pvp posisition (or even plain went for a pve server). I hope Blizzard can look into this soon.
