Rumour on the grapevine says...
Central [PvP]
-Archimonde
-Illidan
-Mal'Ganis
-Stormreaver
Pacific [PvP]
-Frostwolf
-Tichondrius
Also, Archimonde appears to be the major Guild server...with guilds such as DIE and NURFED. Lords of Death will be on Frostwolf. Fires of Heaven, the major EQ guild is going to be going to a PvE server.

Looks like we need to avoid Archimonde. Maybe go Mal'Ganis?

I know a few of us are gonna be spawn camping the stores at 11:59pm on the 22nd. When the game spawns and we get in game some 1 will post a new thread here on where we going..that's the best way to get us all on 1 server. It's not gonna be hard to post even with the game runnng and yourself burning to lvl up fast...A simple alt tab and a quick post will link us all up on 1 server.

Another interesting fact came out today that the Central servers are actually hosted on the East Coast with Central time and the Mountain servers are located on the West Coast with Mountain Time. Apparently there is no advantage to be gained by picking central.

I would like to know how you guys find all this info out. Seems there is always some 1 that knows everything there is to know about a game b4 any 1 else has even seen it.. I know some of you might know some of the devs.. I guess that is a chance. I look every where for info on the games I like but only find the stuff the rest of the general public does. Soooo give me your source of the insider information channel!!! I want to know stuff early too!:D

To get the best info about anything, you have to be prety deep into IRC. All the good stuff originates there and moves to the web via the grapevine.
As for server choice. The line I will be camping tonight is about 2 minutes from my house, there is a good chance I might end up being the first one on. Is there any particular reason you want an underpopulated PvP server? That would be like playing on werner. Whats the point? Everyone knows Markov is where everything "happens".

Because we have seen what happens to a server crammed full of people, it just gets more crammed. Unlike PlanetSide, the under populated server in WoW will soon fill up. I would rather not choose the one that is going to be crammed from the get go, let alone one with el33tist guilds planning to make their home.

Ok, if those are indeed the server names, Mal'Ganis it will be. If they aren't, whoever has first shot will just have to take a shot in the dark. Considering the fraction of people that will have the game to login tonight, server pops will be misleading.

Does anyone know where I can find a list of stores in Atlanta that will be offering WoW at midnight? I can't seem to find one!!:(
Nevermind!!! I just found one...I'm EST to so I'll actually get mine 3 hrs before the people on the west coast!! Woot!

Most Wal-Marts will have it at midnight, also check bestbuy, frys, compusa, babbages (gamestop), or Electronics Boutique (EBgames). Most of those should have it and should be open at midnight for the release.

Well hopefully someone that is on these boards or knows from someone that is on these boards has heard what server we are planning to be on cuz it will just suck if they end up on the wrong one, well suck for them anyways :). Make sure you let your guys know what server we are going to hit if they don't come to these boards. We all seem to be agreeing on the right server and it would suck if others chose the wrong one and got too far into their leveling.
See ya sometime tomorrow, I want the game but Im not going to the store at midnight :).
