*Small reduction to BFR Shield Regeneration.
*Small reduction to BFR shield's size.
*Increased experience multiplier for destroying a BFR.
*Reduced BFR explosion radius when it is destroyed.
*Reduced BFR AV weapons damage.
*Increased effectiveness of handheld AV weapons vs. BFR's (Striker, Phoenix, Lancer, Decimator).
*Increased the effectiveness of EMP's vs. BFR's.
*Increased AV MAX effectiveness againt BFR's.
*Splash damage that hits a BFR shield will incur less grief.

Lazy :)

It does suck though when your standing in front of one shooting at it and nothing is damaging it. Makes you have to work together more though to get people behind it to take out its sheilds.

The only problem I have the BFR's is that one little thing on the ground stops you.

I have heard that the Fury is a good Anti-BFR vehicle even though it is easy to kill. How does it seem in-game?

yep they are all lazy and think they are the best so they think they dont need help and that the BFRs are just oover powerd.

It would be really funny if someone recorded a group of players taking down a BFR with some of the worst weapons in the game. Something along the lines of a platoon ambushes a lone BFR with Supressers and jammers only. They can be hiding in trees, in marshes, or hills along the road.

How effective are the CC weapons against a BFR? Does the radiator do a good job hurting the pilot or is it stopped by the shield? Can the spiker go through the shield or does it impact the shield and how much damage does it do to the BFR? How does the Mealstrom do against the BFR?

Radiator is a pilot killer..in the caves..when you could drive bfr's there it was a nightmare seeing all the clouds of death hanging around..I had to make a special favorite for BFR driveing..Heavy med packs and lots of glue.
This nerf is uncalled for..Now were gonna have to run from them striker walls and circle in confusion trying to find the the phoneix users. I thought that BFR's were sappost to be the king of outdoors fighting.
While our ppa doesn't hurt the bfr's to much there is a another thing we can use..but it requires team work with at least 1 or maybe 2 other bfr's..
Make your load out a siphon in 1 arm and a ppa in the other. all bfr's run in close and block the bad guy from moveing or running then drink his armor away with the siphon and at the same time hammering at his shield with the ppa. This is the best anti bfr loadout that I have found.
I see people already bitchen about our bfr's running duel lasers and killen rexo in 1 second. Well I've been killed in under a second with the TR's bfr running 2 anti infantry chain guns..those things are just mean. I have also been gimped with the NC bfr anti infantry weapon..This bitch is unfounded. Of course the TR and the NC are gonna be pissed about our anti infantry weapons as most still run around with rexo and empire HA..Remember that TR//NC live and breathe their HA..if their ha can't kill anything there gonna screem nerf.
If this nerf on the bfr's is to drastic I may rethink my cert my self untill then I will try em out for now.. I like the bfr's It's a good place to shoot out globals and go back and forth to the map with good protection..a perfect place to command from..if your into that

By the sounds of it, its just a small, childish, self-centered, minority that are complaining. The Devs are not changing the BFR's untill next week, which I think is a smart thing since it gives the community more time to experience them and change their minds for the better.

In our continued pursuit of a better balanced BFR that fits within the combined arms goal of PlanetSide combat, we are evaluating additional changes to the update we have scheduled for the morning of Tuesday 11/2.

*Reduction in BFR shield regeneration designed to reduce its battlefield staying power. BFR vs. BFR balance will change with a 1 on 1 able to bust through each other's shields in 25-35 seconds (currently 40-60 seconds, depending on pilot accuracy).
*BFR shield regen while crouched will only be slightly reduced, to reinforce the tactic (and inherent limitations) of crouching while taking sustained fire.
*Corresponding BFR shield regeneration reduction in BFR varients (Flight and Gunner)
*Increase in the time the BFR shield stays down once it is "beat down". This is intended to moderately reduce the BFRs ability to run away.
*Corresponding reduction in Flail and Liberator AV damage vs. BFRs to maintain that current balance.
*Slight reduction in BFR Anti Air weapon damage.

We appriciate eveyone's feedback on current BFR balance and are committed to a balanced PlanetSide with BFRs well integrated into the vehicle landscape.
