This in from VS-Council
During the recent Bending phenomenon, Sovereignty leaders deployed a series of research beacons to collect data on the atmospheric conditions and energy readings of the worlds that make up the new Auraxian system. Analysis of this data revealed terabytes of encrypted data not expected in these scans. Sensors have also detected a surge of localized Nanite activity within the asteroids that once formed the Auraxian Core.
Knowing the Nanites to be the emissaries of the Ancients’ wisdom, researchers have been assigned to decipher the data. Their findings are astounding. The Nanites are actually reshaping the codes and instructions that guide their behavior. The data represents graphs and histograms of matrixing patterns and memory echoes of fallen soldiers from all three Empires. Even more fascinating is that the Nanites are reshaping human technology to address the shortfalls that they perceive.
Beamer: The Beamer has been re-engineered. It now uses the energy from its cells more efficiently, thereby doing more damage to its targets with a slight increase in its Cone of Fire. We can only assume that this is a sign of approval of the Sovereignty’s agenda by her Auraxian grace.
Repeater and Suppressor: It appears that the Repeater and Suppressor have also been redesigned by the Core to inflict greater damage. It appears that the Repeater has a slightly larger Cone of Fire in the new design. Whether this intervention is an extension of the Nanites’ mandate for perfection or the result of a virile instruction set introduced by the Republic to serve its needs has not been determined.
Spawn Room Pain Fields: The Nanites have identified inefficient usage patterns, showing frequent rematrixing of the same patterns over short spans of time due to enemy invasion of spawn rooms. They have responded by constructing pain fields in each spawn room. Analysis of the damage parameters shows that this pain field will not be of the same strength as a Module pain field.
Stellar Map: Knowing that many advances propagate through the continental lattice to our enemies’ sanctuary, we are occasionally reluctant to make them. The recent bending gave us the opportunity to exploit the Terran and Conglomerate’s technological inferiority by denying them functionality on the new stellar map interface. But we should have known that Auraxis would not tolerate this inefficiency.
Accessing the stellar map no longer scrambles communication, forcing transmission on the local channel. Incentive conditions and waypoint displays will once again be available at a glance. HUD interface boxes will consistently keep the positioning that our soldiers assign to them.
Communication While Dead: New networking pathways have been developed, which enable communication from within the rematrixing buffer. Soldiers will now be able to chat while they are waiting to respawn.
Geo Warps: The Core calls to us! The Geo Warps will no longer require that an Empire maintains control of a connecting facility to pass through them. Additionally, the Geo Warps will function as broadcast Geo Warps for Empires that do control the linked facility, allowing access to the open caverns.
Spacially Transitioned Combat Deployment: Colloquially known as Instant Action, this functionality has experienced issues since the bending, no doubt as it adapts to the new spacial dynamics of the Auraxian system. The Nanites have corrected this, so that it no longer results in soldiers’ death when arriving on the newly discovered Battle Islands.
Rearm Silos: Lattice interconnections have been re-routed, so that the rearm capabilities of silos airpads no longer require a link to a Dropship Center. A lattice link is still required for repair functionality.
The following item is not the result of Nanite activity, but is also an important development.
Cavern Experience: The backdoor subroutines we have installed in the Terran Republic’s military experience network continue to benefit us. The Republic is working to bring the caverns online with the system, and all Empires will earn experience rewards and certification rankings by capturing cavern facilities.
It appears that the Nanites have constructed an enormous simulation of the Auraxian system within their network for testing these enhancements. As our researchers watch these developments and make their projections, they expect them to be deployed into the living system toward the middle of the next month.
