We normally don't do two maintenance posts in a day, we'll just update the original one with information, but a new line has come across the login screen service alert that is raising significant eyebrows.
Apparently, and contradictory to the information presented by another blue poster earlier in the evening (http://www.wow.com/2009/08/03/extended-server-maintenance-for-tuesday-august-4th/), a batch of realms will be offline for a full 24 hour period tomorrow. Initially we thought it was a typo, but it hasn't changed and there's already been a thread about it in the Customer Service forums for a few hours, so we're scratching our heads - taking this as truth for the moment.
