...seriously. It's completely not worth it anymore. I'd wager to say 9 / 10 posts is bitching about something that isn't worth bitching over. I'm happy-go-lucky about the game until I read the offical boards. I'd be happy to get banned just so I won't feel inclined to visit anymore. It's not worth wading through the BS to find any good... if any does exist.

I know there are other boards, but I'm like some Alcoholic and keep coming back. I need a group to go to to ween me off the damn boards.

This game is plagued with so many green FPS players. The veteran FPS players know how to adapt, stop bitching, and move on with life. The other visit these forums and bitch bitch bitch. </rant>

I check it out too, just to learn things. Mostly i read the Markov forum, talk about the night's battles and stuff like that.

General and PS chats are full of tools and babies. Although, I've been there bitching about VS weapons since release...but to almost no avail.

After EQ and DAoC, I've learned that games are much more pleasant if you don't get caught up in the bitchfest forums. Ignorance is bliss and all that.

That being said, I do sometimes scan them if I need to find some hard to find info.

The PSU forums, while not completely above the bitching, are a much calmer environment overall. :)

Art of War forums on planetside.com are pretty much OK. Some of the posts over there are actually VERY good. There are a few good threads on vehicle specific (Reaver, AMS, Galaxy, Sunderer) tactics, commander tips, infil/sniper/CE hints and tips among other things.

They seem to be hard to find nowadays, however.
